They did everything from taking down all the trees, bringing in fill to level my yard, digging for my foundation and then preparing the yard and spreading seed after the house was built. What I once had was an acre of dense trees. Now I have a beautiful green lawn surrounded by approximately 150 newly planted trees. They did a building lot for us from start to finish. They cleared all the unwanted trees and brush out, leveled the lot and put in the driveway. Then they planted trees on the whole boarder and prepped and seeded all the lawn. They were professional and courteous and the work was done in a timely manor. While we were building the house contractors commented that this was the nicest, cleanest lot they ever worked at because so much was done prior to the house being in. I highly recommend Matteis Industries. They forestry-mulched a 14,000-square-foot wooded area for me in half a day. I was extremely impressed with the precision of the operator and the heavy equipment they brought. They took their time to preserve all of the trees I marked and mulched everything else to a nice, level grade. Joe was very easy to communicate with and checked in before the job started and again afterward to ensure the cleanup was completed properly. They spent a lot of time cleaning up any mulch that made its way onto my lawn, and it’s easy to tell they take pride in delivering top-notch work.
